Infant & Early Childhood Developmental Therapy Program

✨ Brighter Beginnings ✨

Every child grows at their own pace, but if you have concerns about your little one’s development, you’re not alone—and support is available. Early intervention services for ages 0-5 can help strengthen your child’s communication, motor skills, cognitive skills, social-emotional development, and overall well-being. Through play-based, family-centered therapy, we work alongside you to nurture your child’s unique strengths and set them up for success. The earlier we support growth, the greater the impact! Let’s take the next step together—because every child deserves the best start in life. 💛

Meet Dr. Kulikov-Ramirez

At LightHaven, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and Dr. Kulikov-Ramirez is here to make that happen! As a dedicated therapist with a Master’s degree and a PhD in Infant and Early Childhood Development (with a special focus on Mental Health and Developmental Disorders), she brings both expertise and heart to the families she supports.

With over 20 years of experience in child development—both hands-on and in leadership roles—Dr. Kulikov-Ramirez has spent a significant portion of her career as a Child Development Specialist and Supervisor, especially for Early Start-Early Intervention programs. Her passion for helping little ones and their families navigate developmental challenges has only grown stronger over the years.

She is deeply knowledgeable in all areas of development—cognitive, motor, social-emotional, speech/language, and sensorimotor—and understands how crucial early intervention can be. Unfortunately, too many children slip through the cracks, either because they don’t qualify for state-funded services or because their families prefer a more flexible, personalized approach, and there is a lack of these programs. That’s where LightHaven comes in!

Living in a small community with limited developmental resources, Dr. Kulikov-Ramirez saw firsthand the frustration families face due to inconsistent services and high provider turnover (and experienced it personally with her own children). LightHaven’s Infant and Early Childhood Developmental Therapy program, Brighter Beginnings, was created as a warm, dependable alternative for families seeking meaningful, private intervention.

While we are a private-pay service (trust us, we wish insurance covered this too—it’s beyond frustrating!), this also means we have the freedom to tailor every session to each child’s unique needs. No rigid guidelines, no red tape—just thoughtful, creative, and compassionate support designed to help your little one shine!

Ready to Get Started?

We’d love to connect with you! No referral or previous diagnosis is needed—just reach out, and we’ll guide you through the process.

To help us understand your little one’s unique strengths and needs, we’ll begin with a developmental assessment to see which areas could use extra support. If you already have an assessment from the past three months, feel free to share it with us, and we can jump right into therapy sessions!

Let’s work together to help your child grow, learn, and thrive! 🌟
