Child & Teen Therapy
“A child’s heart is like a garden. Therapy helps plant seeds of hope, healing, and confidence.”
Mental Health Therapy for Children and Teens Ages 3-17
Children often struggle to express complex emotions or understand difficult experiences, which can lead to behavioral challenges or emotional distress. Our child therapy services provide a safe, nurturing space where children can explore their feelings, process trauma, learn coping strategies and skills for emotional regulation, and develop important life and social skills. Through play, creative activities, and guided conversation, we help children build emotional resilience, improve social skills, and find healthy ways to navigate their world. Whether your child is dealing with anxiety, anger, grief, or other struggles, we are here to support their growth and well-being.
Adolescence is also a time of great change, and many teens face challenges like stress, self-esteem issues, anxiety, or difficulty with relationships. Therapy for teens provides a safe, confidential virtual space where they can express themselves without judgment. Our therapists work with teens to explore their thoughts and emotions, build healthy coping skills, and navigate the pressures of growing up. Whether dealing with school stress, family dynamics, or identity concerns, we help teens develop the tools they need to feel more confident, resilient, and in control of their lives.
At LightHaven, we believe in a holistic, eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring our methods to meet each child’s unique needs. Our therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including:
